The 30 deepwell gas pumps might be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders so far. It can be the second LNG gas pump methods order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj within the last 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gasoline pumps in 2021, and says there are heaps of indications that sales may increase even further in 2022.
“Until a few years ago, using LNG as a marine gas was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are now seeing a sharp enhance in gasoline pump orders for deep sea vessels corresponding to container ships and automotive carriers,” mentioned Johnny Houmann, chief sales officer at Svanehøj. “We had been chosen because the supplier of gas pump techniques for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And เกจวัดแรงดันปั๊มลม to extend our market share further within the coming years.”
