Daikin Europe’s indoor air high quality (IAQ) management feature is an choice out there for the floor-standing model of its Altherma heat pump convector (HPC). IAQ refers to the quality of air contained in the room or structure.
The small wall-mounted controller continually measures the CO2in the room. When pressure gauge 10 bar exceeds a pre-set threshold, the controller routinely opens a damper situated within the heat pump convector. The open damper permits fresh air to enter the building from the skin. The incoming fresh air is then heated or cooled to the desired indoor temperature by the HPC. Integration of heating and cooling with IAQ helps ship both optimum temperatures with improved indoor air high quality.
Patrick Crombez, common supervisor Daikin Europe Heating and Renewables, stated: “Daikin’s development team is repeatedly exploring new ways to improve our merchandise with features that are necessary to constructing house owners, occupants, installers and for the environment.”
