Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister company Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million dollar contracts to help the ITER project in France.

The ITER project is a joint international analysis and development challenge to reveal the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is underneath development in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the earth.
Hayward Tyler’s booster pumps shall be an integral part of the drying system for the Tokamak Cooling Water System (TCWS). The pumps will be designed, constructed and examined at Hayward Tyler Inc in Colchester, Vermont, USA.
Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are each a half of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
