Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and full metering systems. The company employs around 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long tradition of supporting customers and creating leading industrial circulate expertise for environment friendly, exact and protected dealing with of fluids,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we’re constructing our presence and know-how providing within constructive displacement pumps.”

The major part of the acquired companies could have its base within the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
